Why Azan Today software is developed? |

In this era, it is getting very hard to keep in mind the times of Salaat. But it is the most preferable to perform Salaat just after Azan and Iqamat.

Imam Sadiq [a] said: "If there be a stream at the house of one of you in which the one washes himself five times a day, will there remain anything from the dirt over his body? Verily, the likeness of prayers is the same as the stream. The person who establishes ritual prayers clears out his sins thereby, except for the sin that takes him out from Faith he believes in."

This software alerts you just on time of Salaat with Azan voice to help you perform Salaat in the first place and don’t delay or miss any namaz.

Can I enable Daylist Savings Time (DST) in my region? |
| A: |
Yes, in fact you can enable DST in any region you selected, Following procedure will guide you to setup DST in your region:-
Make sure You have v1.01 of 'Azan Today' insalled. Then go to
configuration and then Localization tab and there you will find an option to
enable DST. Just select starting and ending dates of DST period and you are done. |

I am using Windows Vista. Why can't I install Locations? |
| A: |
This is because of Vista Security features. You can install 'Azan Today Locations' on Windows Vista using following method:
You will have to log-in as 'System Administrator' then right click on the locations installer file 'Locations Installer.exe' and select 'Run as Administrator'. This will show you a dialog to allow/deny the access, select allow n all files will be updated perfectly.
Don't forget to close 'Azan Today' before installing locations.

Why ‘Azan Today’ isn’t starting. It just closes each time I start? |

Probably you don’t have Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 installed in your computer. It is must to install it for ‘Azan Today’ to work. You can download it from Microsoft’s website.

Why Islamic date isn’t correct? Can I adjust Islamic date according to my local region? |
| A: |
Yes you can. As Islamic dates are conditioned with moon appearance in your local region and ‘Azan Today’ has the flexibility to adjust it according to your local region. To adjust the Islamic date, please follow the following procedure.
Right Click on Islamic Date and a menu will pop-up containing different possible Islamic dates and select the one which is correct in your region. |

I can’t see my current location in the list? |

Right now, Azan Today has Azan Timings for Pakistan and various Cities of it. However we are working on it to expand it for other regions. Please feel free to submit a request at our site for your region. |

I have an Azan audio which I want to play when Namaz time arrives. What is the procedure? |

You can do so in the Alerts tab of Configuration window by clicking on ‘Add New Azan audio’ button. |

I have added an Azan audio from my computer but the text of Azan is not synchronized according to the audio. Why is it happening? |

Unfortunately it cannot be changed right now as Azan text has been set according to the default Azan and it does not have any idea about the text of Azan played by the user. |

You can upload your desired Azan Audio on ‘Azan Today’ website to share with others. |

I have not tested but it might run on Windows 9x and Millennium too. You can check yourself. |

Following features are in the list:
- Adding as much regions support as possible.
- Alert the user about Islamic occasions with useful information e.g. Birthdays & Martyrdom days of Ahlulbayt(as), Eid days and other religious occasions.
- Displaying information about specific Duas on specific days and occasions.
- Informing all the users about Deaths, important events in any region.
- Applying custom skin layout to the software.
- Displaying a News Center when ‘Azan Today’ starts.
- More Azan audios to play at Salaat times.
